Senator Na‘Allah Mohammed, representing Kebbi South senatorial District and Majority Leader in the 8th Nigerian Senate, has lost his son to bandits.
The 36 year old pilot was found dead at his residence at Malali, Kaduna State. The deceased was reportedly strangled with a rope by bandits, who broke in through the ceiling. The bandits also made away with his vehicle and some personal belongings.
This is happening despite the President’s order to security agencies to “Shoot at Sight” anyone seen with an AK-47 in the bush, as well as the efforts of past presidents to curb the constant insecurity challenges.
Clearly, our leaders are yet to proffer a lasting solution to Banditry, Armed Robbery, Kidnapping and other forms of violence against human lives.
